Faithful Sacrifice: Rescuing and Caring for Orphaned Children

In a world where uncertainty often dictates choices, our team stands in support of a courageous family that has stepped up to care for orphaned refugee children. These children, left without parents and without hope, found refuge in the arms of a man who risked everything to bring them to safety.

Braving treacherous waters, the father of this family crossed the river from Myanmar, determined to rescue these children from danger. With no stable source of income and facing immense hardships, he and his family have chosen to trust in God’s provision, embracing these children as their own despite their struggles.

Yet, the reality for these children remains heartbreaking. They have endured deep trauma, losing not only their families but also their sense of security. Many suffer from malnutrition and lack access to basic necessities like food, healthcare, and education. Their future remains uncertain unless action is taken. They need more than just shelter—they need stability, care, and the opportunity to heal and thrive.

When we arrived to visit them, we witnessed their daily battle for survival. The father, overwhelmed with emotion, broke down in tears, realizing that his prayers had been answered. Providing daily meals had become an immense challenge, especially with so many mouths to feed, yet his faith never wavered. He continued to love and nurture these children despite the struggles.

This family has now become our main point of contact in the area, a beacon of hope in their community. Their gratitude toward the team is immeasurable, as no one had reached out to help them before. Their story is a testament to the power of faith, resilience, and love—proof that even in the darkest times, hope can shine through.

But they cannot do this alone. These children need a voice. They need people who will stand in the gap, advocate for their future, and provide the resources they so desperately need. They require food, education, medical care, and, most importantly, love and security. We must come together to ensure they are not forgotten.

Bringing Hope & Healing: Humanitarian Outreach in Maesot, Thailand

With hearts ablaze with faith and compassion, the Christian Outreach Centre Foundation’s Safe Haven Program carried out a powerful humanitarian mission in Maesot, Tak Province, Thailand, from January 29 to 31, 2025. Moved by God’s love and strengthened by the generosity of our supporters, we stepped into a place of urgent need—bringing relief, restoring dignity, and igniting hope in the hearts of the vulnerable.

Mission Impact:

🔥 Emergency Aid Delivered: 250 families received critical relief, ensuring food, hygiene, and survival essentials in their time of need.

💖 Lives Touched: 400 individuals found comfort, care, and renewed hope through our outreach efforts.

🌱 Sowing Seeds of Change: 20 families are now empowered through livelihood projects, fostering long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

🙏 Faith in Action: Though the launch of our mobile clinic is temporarily on hold, we stand firm in faith, believing that God will open the doors for us to extend medical care and healing to this community.

None of this would be possible without the unwavering dedication of our volunteers, donors, and partners who embody the love of Christ through their generosity and service. On January 11, 2025, a truly heartwarming celebration unfolded in the Long Neck Village of the Kayan Tribe, nestled in the picturesque Mae Wang District, Chiang Mai. This special Children’s Day event brought together the vibrant spirit of the community, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved.

The day was a joyous mix of laughter, learning, and connection. Fun-filled games sparked delight among the children, their faces lighting up with pure happiness. Each activity was a testament to the resilience and spirit of these young hearts, reflecting the enduring beauty of their culture.

A meaningful highlight of the day was the screening of a short film that shared the timeless message of God’s Word. The film resonated deeply with the attendees, blending the celebration of faith with the beauty of the Kayan way of life.
